Together, we grow.
Key to CP offers a range of specialized therapies for cerebral palsy patients of all ages and needs. Our programs are designed to help each client address their unique goals, and keep improving long after the intensive has ended.
“This was a set of blueprints for us. We didn’t know what direction to go. We have had so many professionals give us ideas about what our son’s life should look like. This was the way to bring everything together and to go home with a really solid plan.”Colton, age 2, and his parents
Every person with cerebral palsy experiences it differently. It can be difficult for caretakers, parents of children with CP, or even patients themselves to truly grasp the intricacies of their particular diagnosis. Our program seeks to unlock a client’s best possible performance – their highest potential– through specialized assessment and treatment options.
The methods we use are evidence-based, best-practice interventions. Every therapist at Key to CP has a personal toolbox of past experience and proven techniques they will recommend for you or your child.
Since 2010, our private-practice clinic in Rochester, New York, has proudly served families from all over the world. It is our hope that we can provide you or your child with exceptional therapy.
“What I like most about working with Key to CP intensives is having the time to really problem solve. Working with families and children, I see the changes and improvements so quickly! Being a part of the impact this has on the child and family is huge.”Heather Hanson, PT, DPT, PCS
Treatment tailored to each client’s needs.
No matter how old you are or what challenges you face, we can help! Key to CP was created by Dr. Karen Pape, MD, and Pia Stampe, PT, DPT to provide a comprehensive and completely unique treatment experience for every client. We work with adults as well as parents of children with CP.
We believe in patient agency – that our clients can and should take an active role in their treatment and recovery. However, we also advocate for support from families, friends, and medical professionals to help our clients grow. During every step of our program, our therapists ensure that you or you and your child fully understands how cerebral palsy impacts motor skills, vision, speech, and cognition function.
Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, speech-language therapy, and more.
